I'm unsure of what the most vexing part of this whole situation is, the fact that I am sorely tempted to climb into a blast freezer, or the fact that my roommate half the base has been forced to resort to partial nudity to cope with the situation.

I saw a fellow wandering around agriculture completely naked earlier. I think he was becoming one with the plants.

While I'm not one to object to casual nudity, the current circumstances may kill any enjoyment to be gained from mutual undress.

I suppose there might be some respite from the heat under the soil...

Bury yourself up to the neck? The soil may go deep enough for your long limbs.

I was thinking more in terms of lying flat and covering oneself in soil. Your suggestion sounds somewhat like... specific kinds of torture
